Jens Raaby – Projects for MSTS
It’s been quite a while since I uploaded any photos of real trains to my gallery.
I’ve begun selecting photos from the real railways taken over the past couple of years to upload.
So far I’ve uploaded some of the better pictures from the United Kingdom, which you can see here. They include several from the National Rail Museum in York, as well as a couple of in-cab shots from the West Coast Main Line.
The temporarily unavailable EA files have now been uploaded to the Oldtimerklubben website and can now be downloaded again.

It’s been a couple of years since I last posted here, mainly as I’ve not had as much time as I would have liked for my train simulator projects. A lot has happened in that time, especially with the migration of many users to RailWorks (previously “Kuju Rail Simulator”).
The site which hosted almost all my MSTS work in Denmark, www.train-sim.org, has now removed its MSTS downloads section. I have recently received a couple of queries about this as my DSB/Railion EA packs were only available on that site. There was a condition with the 3D author that they could only be hosted on that site, hence they have never been hosted here. I will hopefully find out soon whether they can be made available once more. All my other files will shortly be available from Knud Berggreen’s site, and those available here will continue to be available from this site.
What’s next?
I can’t foresee having a great deal of time for MSTS repaints in the future, as it seems to be a (slowly) dying platform. Nobody has approached me for work on RailWorks projects, but if anybody wants something in particular made for that platform with my help, then you can leave a comment here on this blog.
